Pizza + Magic @ Without Papers Pizza

For our first week at school for our “The Press” class we all got to go out to shoot events without being split into our respective crews, with which we now alternate weeks “on assignment.” Aron and I got to tackle this wicked event at Without Papers Pizza in Inglewood where kids come in and get to see magic tricks and make their own pizzas.

Being our first assignment it was weird at first showing up and trying to organize with parents, making sure it was fine for us to take photos of their kids. It started slow with some magic, but as soon as the kids got in the kitchen it started to get crazy. Lines of small faces waiting for aprons and hand washing, then organizing themselves around the kitchen island to stretch out their dough. There was so much excitement in there.

The event mostly showed me how fun shooting kids can be, I think we got really lucky with this event. I had so much fun!
